President Obama just ordered the Department of Justice to stop defending the constitutionality of the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act in federal courts. As Leader Pelosi put it, "The Obama Administration's decision is a victory for civil rights, fairness, and equality for the LGBT community and all Americans.”
