Pain at the Pump
I thought you might want to see this. The DCCC has a map where you can voice your outrage about gas prices and see what others have to say across the country. Check out the Pain at the Pump map at http://www.dccc.org/gas

What did George Bush and Dick Cheney think was going to happen after they spend seven years making all of Halliburton and Big Oil’s dreams come true?

Now we know – $100 for a barrel of oil, tens of billions in profits for Big Oil companies, and $4.00 a gallon at the pump for everyone else.

George Bush doesn’t exactly have his finger on the pulse of the pain that middle class families are feeling these days. When asked to give his advice to struggling families being told to get ready to pay $4.00 a gallon at the pump, our President’s response was, “I hadn’t heard that.”

George Bush might not know the price of gas, but I’m guessing you do. Let’s educate our President.

Make your voice heard – tell us how much you’re paying for gas.

George Bush and Dick Cheney have taken a hatchet to our economy. Now they’re counting on John McCain and his loyal Republican minions in Congress to give their policies a third term.

We already know what’s in store if we let them win – 100 more years and trillions more dollars in Iraq, leaving hardworking families to pay the bill. We can’t let it happen.

This November, let’s give our Democratic President a larger Democratic Majority in Congress so we can finally tell Big Oil to take a backseat to America’s working families.

Make your voices heard and thanks for everything you do.

Sincerely,

Brian Wolff
DCCC Executive Director
And remember to voice your outrage next time you're at the pump!
