Mary Jo Kilroy served on the Columbus School Board for eight years before being elected to the Franklin County Commission in 2000 and reelected in 2004. In 2006, Mary Jo Kilroy lost by a mere 1,062 votes. In August, Republican Deborah Pryce announced that she will not be seeking reelection in 2008.
