Politico - Palin dodges on Stevens and Young question Politico
Sarah Palin, taking her first series of impromptu questions from reporters, today declined to say whether she'll support the re-election of indicted Sen. Ted Stevens and embattled Rep. Don Young. The venerable Alaska Republicans both are running under an ethical cloud that could imperil their re-election.
"Ted Stevens' trial started a couple days ago," Palin told my colleague Ken Vogel at a brief press avail after touring Ground Zero. "We’ll see where that goes.”
Palin ignored a follow-up question about whether she would vote for Stevens or Young.
