Extremist Keith Fimian Urges MORE Guns on College Campuses, Won’t Stand For Closing Gun-Show Loophole

Radical extremist Keith Fimian has done it again.

Not only has he continued his anti-woman extremist agenda throughout this campaign but Fimian recently called for more guns in the classroom when he argued that the 2007 tragedy at Virginia Tech could have been avoided if more kids on college campuses “packed heat.” Fimian hasn’t supported closing the gun-show loophole and supports a dangerous agenda that puts students at risk. Even Governor Bob McDonnell has opposed expanding more guns onto college campuses but Keith Fimian believes that more guns in the classroom is what we need now.

“Voters thought they’d seen all the extremism from Keith Fimian that they could handle, but now he wants MORE guns on college campuses…really?” said Jesse Ferguson, Southern Regional Press Secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Fimian’s extremist agenda couldn’t be more out-of-sync with Northern Virginia values. Even after the tragedy at Virginia Tech, Fimian won’t take a stand to close the loophole that allows criminals and the mentally unstable to get guns. What’s worse, he thinks we should put MORE guns on college campuses – more guns in classrooms. Guns and college don’t mix and neither do Keith Fimian’s and Northern Virginia’s values.”
