DCCC and Democratic Candidates Bank Momentous Resources for Midterms

As the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee continued its blistering fundraising pace in the first quarter – raising $10.3 million and banking $40.2 million – Democratic candidates around the country also put millions of dollars in the bank, outraising their Republican counterparts and putting their campaigns in a strong position for November.

According to the Wall Street Journal: “In the 53 most competitive House races, the Democratic candidates combined are raising more money than their Republican rivals. Perhaps more important, Democrats have far more money in the bank than the Republicans’ combined total.”
