Dan Lungren Hypocrisy on Smart Meters is Off The Charts

As Representative Dan Lungren hailed yesterday'sannouncement of $127.5 million in stimulus funding for ‘smart meters' inSacramento and Placer Counties as a solution to "energy, environmental andnational security issues," Lungren's extreme hypocrisy came into clearer focus.

 

"After voting against landmark clean energy legislation andthe economic recovery package, now Congressman Lungren is claiming credit andhailing the results as the solution to ‘energy, environmental and nationalsecurity issues,'" said Andy Stone, Western Regional Press Secretary for theDemocratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  "This latest example ofLungren's hypocrisy, saying one thing in Washingtonand another in California,is off the charts."
