OH-15: Poll Shows Kilroy with 8 Point Lead Over Stivers
DCCC Press:A Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research poll conducted September 30-October 1 of 401 likely voters with a 4.9 percent margin of error shows that Mary Jo Kilroy leads Steve Stivers 44-36 percent with seven percent going for Independent candidate Don Eckhart. At the presidential level, Barack Obama leads John McCain 46-39 percent.
"Steve Stivers continues to lose support from middle class families upset with his vote for the largest tax increase in Ohio history and for the role he played as a banking lobbyist responsible for deregulating the banking industry and contributing to the worst fiscal crisis since the Great Depression," said Ryan Rudominer, Midwest Regional Press Secretary for the DCCC. "In stark contrast, Mary Jo Kilroy is a strong, independent voice for Central Ohio families who will strengthen Ohio's economy, create jobs, and make health care more affordable."
