DCCC Chairman Steve Israel’s Statement on Rep. Brad Miller’s Decision Not to Run for Re-election

DCCC Chairman Steve Israel released the following statement on Congressman Brad Miller’s (NC-13) announcement that he will not run for re-election.

“For 10 years, Congressman Brad Miller has been a champion for North Carolina families. Brad has been a vocal leader for working families, a champion for stronger consumer protection laws, and a leader on housing and mortgage issues. He has fought tirelessly to protect consumers from abusive and predatory lending practices and helped lead the charge to create the independent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

“On behalf of the DCCC, I thank Brad Miller for his distinguished service in the House and his unyielding commitment to North Carolina’s middle class families.”
